The holidays have come and gone...again! Wow, can you believe it? The years just seem to flash by. I hope everyone had a wonderful December and if you observe any particular traditions, that they were everything you hoped they would be.
Though we continued shipping all orders that came through (thank you so much for your business and continued support! Without you, we would not be here!!) other than that, we took some R&R time off ourselves...no working. I even stayed out of the studio, if you can believe it!? We got to spend lots of time together as a family, it was so nice. ...and much needed! We’re all rested, recharged and ready to go!
One thing in particular does need to be mentioned, and I’m getting ready to write another of our mini-articles on it. I won’t give you any hints other than it had to do with my trusty kayak and I...and something wondrous, frightening, AND magical that happened while out in the wilds over the holiday.
I think you’re going to want to read it.
I should have it finished later this afternoon.

Quick announcement...and then I’ll let you get back to your web surfing. :)
We’ve now reached the point on the holiday calendar, where your orders may or may not reach you in time to to give to others as gifts (if you’re aiming for around the 25th.) I’m thinking they probably won’t, unless you’re fairly close to Missouri (which is where we’re based) geographically. Even then, I wouldn’t bet on it. I ship quickly, but this is the busiest time of the year for all couriers (USPS, UPS, etc.) ...and once those packages leave my hands, they are at the mercy of the swamped delivery system. So! Please keep this in mind as you place your orders: the time has probably passed for ordering holiday gifts online...and getting them in time.
I hope everyone is having a beautiful holiday, no matter how you celebrate it. Amongst other things, around our house we’re ramping up the kitchen to do some serious treat-making. Traditionally, this is the time of year that we make literally over a 1000 Rosettes for loved ones, friends and anyone else who looks like they might need a sugar-rush. My eyes glaze over by the time we get done...but fun it is...every step of the way!
This means though, I have to weave and wend my way through a veritable obstacle course to get to my phone and computer until the cooking is done....so, if you call or email me....though I may not answer right away, I will get back with you promptly.

Good morning!
It appears that our site had a glitch yesterday. We were notified by one of our customers that they were unable to complete their order due to a shipping problem in the cart. Everything appears to be ship-shape today (I’ve examined our site and run it through its paces....and we appear to be good as gold now)...but, we’d love to hear from you if you experienced any difficulties yesterday (or any day, for that matter.) At least one of our dear customers did...which means...others may have, as well.
We want shopping here to be hassle-free and fun!...and if it isn’t, we want to make things right!
Yes...that means you get an extra free goody of our choice with your completed and paid for order if ever our site (or I personally) give you a headache. *wry grin* So! If this is ever the case with you...please give us a yell, so we can get you taken care of good and proper. We love giving out little freebies...any excuse will do...and this situation is definitely justifiable! *smile*
I have much going on in the studio...so scoot for now, I must.

Wow, it has been an interesting last few weeks!
First off, I’d like to say that I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I’m late in the saying of it. Forgive me? :) I have an excellent reason for being absent from updating our site with news, articles and products, though. Which leads me to number two on the discussion list for today....
It ’tis the season for colds and flu’s! One nasty stomach bug got ahold of our household....and I tell you, those of us hit by it thought we were going to die from the experience. It was awful! While I was down, I had some of the non-sick elves fill orders and ship them out for me in order to eliminate any chances of spreading the thing around. Afterwards, I went berserko disinfecting everything I had even just looked at...just in case a stray germ got loose. *shiver*
My reason for sharing this icky tidbit? Beyond letting everyone know where I went & why...I wanted to remind everyone to wash, wash, wash those hands when you’re out and about!! There are some ugly sicknesses afoot and I want everyone to have a marvelous holiday season. Stay well, dear friends!
Thirdly....we have new boards coming! Yessiree! A few are similar to what we already carry...but, others....oooh, these we’re very excited about. Check back in Monday, they’ll be ready for you. And these are just the start, a peek if you will, of new products we are developing for the new year.
