Wicked Varmint Designs carries a growing selection of metaphysical supplies, magical tools and fine hand-crafted goods intended to help you on your spiritual path...or to just tickle your fancy!
As we are also an independant art gallery, our studio manufactures many of the products that we carry. We specialize in celtic knotwork and enjoy "cooking up" new products & designs. You'll find alot of pyrography (wood burnings), hand-carved pieces, sculpture and much, much more spawned from the Varmint's imagination. We enjoy working with our customers and clients too and have some experience creating custom objects to detailed specifications.
Whether shipped in or made on-site, all of our products have been selected (or created) to adhere to high standards of quality. We are constantly plotting new things,"tweaking" and adding to our business, so make sure you check back frequently for updates.

Wicked Varmint Designs is legitimate business registered & licensed in the State of Missouri. We are a year old now, having started in February of 2007. Previous to this, we gained quite a bit of online selling experience as a business on eBay. (In fact, we still hold an active account in good standing there, with 100% on our rating satisfaction on over 600 transactions.)
As a legal tax-paying business...we take our activities very seriously...and are committed to providing excellent products and service. After all, without happy customers...we aren't going to be in business long, now are we?
What got us started with this present business....
I've always been interested in unusual topics, metaphysical and spiritual information, the occult and sometimes even the topics that just so happened to be a bit politically incorrect. Over these past few years in particular, as a person I went through a number of great changes and came to a number of life-changing realizations. Eureka Moments! One of those realizations was...I was not like the majority of other people in my spiritual outlooks. AND...that was ok.
During the process of becoming who I am today (a very spiritual, some would say, pagan lady), I had it illustrated to me just how fearful people as a whole are towards those who walk a different path. It took much soul-searching, but the result was that I decided to expand my online presense to include many things that frequently are looked down upon, shivered at and cause nervous tics in the eyes of the less brave than I.
Why? Because I think there is a dire need for people who have the resources and inclination to provide "fringe" products and information...to do so.
Acceptance takes time and though I don't expect to see too many major changes in the way society views those who live pagan lifestyles in my generation, I can at least do a small part in my own way for future generations: I can make it easier for those who come next to pick up that torch and carry on, so to speak (please pardon the reference!! I get on a roll sometimes and well...)
Today, there is a beautiful abundance of belief systems and "walks" for the modern individual to choose from. But, for those who choose to follow a different drummer from that of the mainstream and/or traditional....there is still a stigma attached, much prejudice to overcome and changes to be made towards general acceptance and understanding. It's that old "that's evil" sentiment that is being struggled against.
So, in great gratitude to those who have walked this path before and broke the ground in their days and ways to the extent that I (and others) are now able to follow...I give my salutations and deep thanks, and begin this business of mine to add to the other great resources, efforts and voices already out here.
AND I bring you some really neat artwork that I hope you tell ALL your friends about (including those who might own art galleries, magazines, and etc. *hint,hint*)
Though Wicked Varmint Designs is a business with it's primary focus on pagan, occult, magical and metaphysical ideas and products, we respect all views, religions and ways of thinking/seeing things and we do not look down upon or discriminate against anyone.

NO DROP-Shipping!
Because of our dedication to the standards we've set...we do NOT use drop-shippers, though there are indeed many fine ones out there. Everything we sell, we have on hand. Why do we refuse to drop-ship...when it would be soooooo much easier and cheaper AND quicker to bring up our inventory selection and quantities? Because WE want to make sure that what we're selling meets our high standards before our customers receive it in the mail.
We have some really excellent wholesale suppliers that we buy from. Absolute gems. Occasionally though, what we order shows up in not-so-whippy shape...or quite frankly, is a crappy product. By only selling what we have on hand, we can personally weed out the poo (Ick! Dirty job but somebody's gotta do it!) and insure that what we are sending to our customers is top-notch.
"So What is a Wicked Varmint?"
Why, that would be ME! *grin*
In our house, we joke around and banter quite a bit. In the process of playing and getting each other with one-line zingers and off-the-wall nick-names, somehow we started using the word VARMINT. None of us quite know when we brought the word into regular usage 'round here...but, it's become a favorite of ours. We also use variations of it such as...smelly varmint, rotten varmint and etc.
Anyway! Wicked Varmint is a term we use around our house to affectionately refer to one of the other family members, in an ornery manner.
It can have negative connotations (going by standard definitions), which I thought would be perfect...in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way...to name my business with. After all, most of my products and hand-crafted items are looked at sideways, so to speak, by a good segment of society. So, to have a bit of warped fun with the whole thing...thus my business became...Wicked Varmint Designs. Perfect isn't it? *cue the crazed laughter*
.....and this would be me, your hostess and web-mistress extraordinaire, caught on camera whilst traipsing through one of my favorite places in the whole, wide, world...the woods. :)
